UN-Habitat opens up with IATI data

UN-Habitat, the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, has launched a new open data portal. Open UN-Habitat uses IATI data published every three months to let users find information about UN-Habitat projects, budget and donors.

“With the launch of our new Open UN-Habitat website, UN-Habitat reaffirms its commitment to financial transparency and to IATI,” says Thomas Melin, Head of External Relations for UN-Habitat.

A new donors’ section allows for donor contributions to be tracked to projects.

“This section is a first step towards enabling donors to trace their core contributions to UN-Habitat down to project level,” Melin says.
