IATI thanks outgoing Vice-Chair

Mohammad Mejbahuddin, from the Government of Bangladesh, has stepped down as IATI’s Vice-Chair following his retirement as Senior Secretary in the Ministry of Finance.

We thank Mr Mejbahuddin for his great service and commitment to IATI, as a champion of Partner Countries’ needs and regular representative of the initiative at global events, and warmly welcome Kazi Shofiqul Azam as our new Vice-Chair. As Secretary of the Economic Relations Division, Mr. Azam represents the government in different local, regional and global platforms to steer the development effectiveness agenda. He is an Alternate Governor of World Bank Group and Asian Development Bank. Mr. Azam also acts as the National Designated Authority (NDA) to the Green Climate Fund.
